An Overview of Our Ministries
Teaching the Bible and applying its principles are very important at Pritchard. Small group study is offered to all ages from Preschool to Senior Adults.
Programming for infants through sixth graders is designed to guide children to become increasingly aware of God and His Son, Jesus. We seek to create a happy, secure, loving environment each time a child comes to church.
Discipleship studies are offered to help adults promote spiritual growth and share their Christian faith because one of the responsibilities given the Church by Jesus is to "make disciples".
Pritchard has a weekly service on cable TV.
Our Sunday Worship service is broadcast every Sunday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Time-Warner Cable Chaneel 21 in Charlotte-Mecklenburg County and cable channel 25 in Northern Mecklenburg County.
In addition, the audiotape Ministry brings God's truth to many shut-ins.
The Media Center supports all programs of the church by providing resources to guide the individual toward spiritual maturity, to strengthen the family unit and to provide help in time of crises.
Community needs are met by the Child Development Center, PALS (Adult Day Care) and our Special Education Department where we encourage self worth and personal growth in relationships with God, family and others.
The Prayer Room is open five days a week from 8:45 am until 4:45 pm and is located in the Office Complex. .
The Missions Ministry promotes personal awareness and participation in missions from local to worldwide. Our AIMM (Action in Missions and Ministries) Program has over 60 volunteers touching lives and meeting needs for Christ on a weekly basis. Our Missions Program purpose is to promote and support missions from age 3 through senior adults.
Pritchard's Recreation Program is designed to give members and friends an opportunity to engage in wholesome activities conducted in a Christian atmosphere. Family events are celebrated around holidays. We have youth and adult Basketball and Adult Softball. Senior adults meet monthly, take trips, day excursions and quarterly, the Friendship Supper Club meets with dinner and special entertainment.
